One State, Different Cuisines
Select One Indian State and do 1 cuisine for each day.
For example in Tamil Nadu, we have different cuisines based on regions like Chettinad, Nanjilnadu Kongunadu etc. So select one state and attempt 3 different dishes from different regions. I am assuming all the states have atleast 3 different cuisines. And I am assuming you won't select a state that doesn't and make my life hard!....:)
Tame the Yeast with Combo
This theme has been introduced since couple of months. This is a baking special, where the BM expert inhouse baker will share a foolproof bread for the rest of the group to bake. The item to be baked will be decided ahead and shared with all. So everybody will have a month's time to work on the bread. This theme again follows the same BM rules.
The idea is to share two breads. Participants can do both the breads or one bread. For the rest of the two days, they can make something as suggested below.
Day one - post the bread that's suggested
Day two - Spreads/Jam/Flavored Butters to be accompanied by the same bread (can be any cuisine)
Day Three - Fried bread recipes/ Dessert
Else you can bake both the breads, for Day 3, you can follow one of the ideas suggested above.
Apart from a recipe, you can also share something related to bread or anything on bread as well, if you don't want to do the other general ideas.
Indian Desserts
As the theme says, the dish has to be Indian and it has to be dessert. Of course we have the habit of serving traditional Indian Sweets as Desserts as well. However for the purpose of being unique, let's only do those dishes that are served chilled. Or in a fusion state of being served Gulab Jamun with Ice Cream or Carrot Halwa with Ice Cream. These are typically Indian Desserts served.
The flowing, gooey halwas are also allowed but not Burfris or Laddos.
North Indian Party Starters
The dish has to be a starter, and it has fall it under a party starter. Not your simple cutlet mind you, but it can be rich and sinful. I won't mind. Yes this can include Chats, Single Serving dishes, but be sure to make sure it fits the bill.
