Blogging Marathon # 33 - 3 Day Marathon for 4 weeks!

I know we are doing a full month marathon and thought that people must be busy and would have forgotten about next month. My friends prove me wrong with the many sms, emails and alerts that landed since this morning. I am surprised but so pleased! Thank you friends for your enthusiastic support and interest.

As a reader if you have been following the events that has been happening recently, you would know we are doing an ABC Cooking series, today was M and last month was all about M. But I won't bring about another alphabetic theme and have everybody mad at me. I am all for rhymes anytime.

Anyway this is a very short and quick announcement as I seem to have got myself in a fix, another announcement is on its way.

The entry is again by Sign ups and each theme will again have only 4 bloggers on first come first basis. 

And because of the new rules I will not be able to accept late sign ups as it will become extremely hard for me to manage otherwise. If you feel you want to do it, please decide ahead, else you can join later.

Commenting on the week blogger's post is mandatory.

And subscription to the group will be monthly basis.

Mandatory rules for this Blogging Marathon are as below:

Since having this theme is to make sure my Kid's Delight event gets good entries, I thought it makes sense to have two themes based on the hosting time.

Kid's Delight - Party Special (3,4,5 and 10,11,12)
Kid's Delight - Nutritious food for Sport Enthusiasts (17,18,19 and 24,25,26)

Please note Kid's delight posts be it for the BM theme or the event, needs to be kid approved. Which means you get your kid, your young relatives or neighbors approve what you have made. Would surely appreciate a note on who liked it and their age group. This way we can tag it properly.

Another thing can be that you as a kid liked the particular dish. Else it will not be eligible for both the events.

Kid's Delight - Party Special (3,4,5 and 10,11,12)

For the blog anniversary, I have a custom of celebrating it with a party for the Kids. So check out the details and join me for the party!

Kid's Delight -  Nutritious food for Sport Enthusiasts (17,18,19 and 24,25,26) 

Pradnya will be hosting this edition. She is calling for Nutritious food for Sport Enthusiasts

These can include foods rich in proteins, calcium and minerals, which can be building blocks for your child to become a sportsperson.

This can also be fusion food involving innovative recipes where you incorporate health drinks in the dishes, like Bournvita Cake etc.

Festival Dishes with Step by Step pics

With so many festivals coming up, cook up any of the festival dishes with step by step pictures to help.

Combo Platters ~ Tikkis/ Patties

This should be combo dishes that can be served together, like Tikki chole, Can be Indian or international
Other example would Burgers with fries, toast with cutlet etc. Or you can simply do a platter of Tikkis with different sides like rotis, bread etc.

More examples will be tikki paratha, tikki wrap etc. The dish should have accompaniment as well. Meaning if you are serving burgers, fries should also be part of the picture.

Toast with cutlet and fries. Basically protein + carb, Carb + starch, protein + starch combinations

Fiction with Food

If you are one of those who always have a story to share, especially when you think of your food, do share it with us. There is no mandate that it has to be literary excellence, but should be proof read and edited appropriately. The recipes featured along with the story can be anything, from any cuisine. The

Eggless cakes

I know this is too easy, don't want to impose so many clause in this. Simply bake a cake without eggs, listing how you replaced the egg.

Your favorite celebrity chef recipes

This can range from Indian to International. Anything of your choice. Each day one celebrity and not all three days from the same chef.

Chocolates

Do I need to say much? Well chocolate is my favorite and more my kids. So I don't mind getting to read about Chocolate as desserts, fusion or whatever form you want to serve it.

Special Theme - Do three weeks and for the 4th week you get to do the special theme.

Cook three different letters from the ABC Cooking Series (BM 32 Editon) from any of the three BM Member blogs

Please remember all three days can't be the same. It has to be different and different blogs.

This is accepted only for the 4th week (and should have done all three previous weeks).
